Since we are timebound by 1 Hour we request all students to be in class on time. We would like to maximize the learning period.
Students must be attentive in the class and focus on teacher’s directions. Students must respect teacher’s decision and follow all the rules in the class.
Parents are welcome to accompany the students in the class if they are not distracted.
Practice
Carnatic music needs lot of dedication and commitment, it is imperative that all students practice the class sessions at home daily for some time (at least 30 mins). This would ensure that students are able to progress well. Especially in batches one student could impact others in the class. So, all students should make sure they practice well at home.
Unplanned Absence
We highly encourage students attend every class without failure, in an unavoidable circumstance if the student is not able to attend the class, recordings for the class would be made available online for students to access. We would assess if the student needs any additional classes to bring them up to the same level as other students.
Planned Vacation
We would highly recommend discussing any planned vacation for any student with teacher well in advance. Once they join back, we would help student progress to the level of other students in the batch.
Fee
Fee is collected on per month basis and NOT on number of classes in a month.
Fee is due on or before 1st class of every month.
Fee can be transferred using Cash, Cheque or Online Transfer.

For Beginners, the book followed in the class would be “Ganamrutha Bodhini (Sangeetha Bala Padam)” by A.S. Panchapakesa Iyer.
For Varnams, the book followed in the class would be “Ganamrutha Varna Malika (Sangeetha Bala Padam)” by A.S. Panchapakesa Iyer.
For Keerthanams, class materials would be sent to students separately.
Students can purchase the books from us (based on availability) or online.
