welcome

Sangeetham or Music is considered to be a part of ' Sama Veda' . Sangeetham is considered as the union of Geetham(Vocal), Vadyam(Musical Instrument) and Nruthyam (Dance). Over a period of time, humans have mastered music by both Geetham(Vocal) and Vadyam(Musical Instrument) as the source. Nruthyam (Dance) was also included to be part of Sangeetham as per Ancient Opus. It is believed that Dance form need cordination and support from Vocal or Instruments to be complete. However, Geetham(Vocal) is considered to be superior to Vadyam(Musical Instrument) and Nruthyam (Dance), as Geetham is complete in itself as per Ancient Opus. The Ancient Opus saying goes like this -

“Geetam vadyam tatha nrityam
trayam sangeetamuchyate ||”
“Nrutham Vadyanugam Proktham Vadyam Geethanuvarthi Cha
Atho Geetham Pradhanatwadathradavabhidheeyathe ||”

Music though considered a divine gift of God to everyone, it is an art form which is to be constantly and continously practiced and nourished to reach the state of near perfection. The two major styles of Indian music are Carnatic music and Hindusthani music. Basically both are almost alike exept for small changes in the style of rendering. Carnatic Art Form can be aquired not only by Vocal form, but also through other musical instruments like Violin, Veena, Mandolin, Flute etc.

We have been teaching Carnatic- Vocal & Violin lessons to both beginner and advanced level students for the past 10+ years now
